A busy week for Tewksbury High School spring sports teams is ahead with all of the school's teams in action.

There may be some scattered snow banks still refusing to melt, but spring is officially here. And with that, spring sports season is in full swing with a busy slate of games on the docket this week. Rivalry Game Highlights Final Regular Season Week

Tewksbury boys hockey travels to Wilmington as Redmen team play their final games of the season.

Several Tewksbury teams are gearing up for the playoffs. And one in particular will get a stern test this week during the final week of regular season games when the boys hockey team travels to Wilmington. The Redmen begin the week with a girls basketball contest on Monday. The Lady Redmen have used a late season charge to vault themselves atop the league standings. Tewksbury will travel to Lynn for the final day to play in the final of the tournament hosted by St. Mary's. The Redmen toppled Melrose on Sunday to earn its place in the finals. On Tuesday, the boys basketball team hopes to improve its own playoff positioning. The team clinched a playoff spot on Friday with a drubbing of Dracut on the road. Just Two Weeks Remain for Redmen Winter Teams

Tewksbury High teams are entering the stretch run as the regular season winds down and playoffs approach.

For Tewksbury winter sports teams, the finish line is in sight. Just two weeks remain in the regular season before teams across the state begin their postseason runs. Several Redmen teams are action this week as they wind down their own regular season slate. On Monday, the only team in action is the girls gymnastics team, which was scheduled to take on Dracut Saturday. That meet will instead take place to start the week because of the snow that hammered the area. Tuesday is a busier day for Tewksbury teams. The basketball teams are both in action with 7 p.m. tilts.
