Sandra E. (Perry) Sullivan, age 70, died unexpectedly while visiting her sister Joan in St. Cloud, Florida on Monday, April 8. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter F. Sullivan, who died in 2011. She was born in Boston on June 6, 1942, a daughter of the late, William H. and Doris (Farrell) Perry. She was raised in the Boston area living most of her life in Malden. She was an incredibly dedicated and nurturing Mother who spent her life caring for her family. Stacy (Kanakaris) Devincenzi, age 42, died Sunday, April 21, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by her beloved family, following a courageous three year battle with cancer. She was born in Medford, May 17, 1970, a beloved daughter of Glenda (Wilson) Kanakaris now residing in Virginia Beach, VA and Stanley Kanakaris and his wife Carol of MA. She was raised in Tewksbury, and was a member of Tewksbury Memorial High School Class of 1988. She raised her family in Dracut, and returned to Tewksbury in 2011. Dana A. Nickerson, age 53, died Tuesday, April 2, surrounded by his beloved family, following a courageous four month battle with cancer. He was the husband of Linda L. (Yandle) Nickerson, with whom he had celebrated a 32nd wedding anniversary this past February 7th. Dana was born in Lowell, August 10, 1959, one of three children of Roland and Barbara (Francis) Nickerson who reside in Billerica. He was raised in Billerica, attended Billerica schools, and the Billerica High School. Frances R. “Fran” Albano, age 51, a lifelong Billerica resident, died peacefully at her home early Monday morning, April 1, from an apparent heart attack during the night. She was born in Boston, June 3, 1961, one of three daughters of the late Frank and Rosa (Festa) Albano, was raised in the Pinehurst section of Billerica, and graduated from Billerica High School with the Class of 1979. Blanchette, who died in 1999. She was born in Manchester, NH, on March 2, 1948, one of three daughters of the late William and Helen (Smyth) Bergeron, and was raised in Lynn. She was a member of Lynn English High School’s Class of 1966. She lived in Lynn until the death of her husband when she moved to Tewksbury. She was a communicant of St. William’s Church in Tewksbury. Marion Louise (Varris) (Cusack) Zak, age 88, died peacefully Saturday afternoon, March 23, surrounded by her family at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in No. Billerica. She remained active and lived independently until five weeks ago. She was the wife of the late John F. “Sonny” Cusack, and later, the late Chester Zak. Mrs. Zak was born in Wakefield on December 3, 1924, one of two children of the late George A. and Katherine (MacLeod) Varris. She was raised in Watertown where she graduated from Watertown High School. She began her career with John Hancock Insurance in Boston. Helen (Coccia) Ogden, age 85, died peacefully on Friday, March 15, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Rudolph W. Ogden Sr., with whom she had celebrated a 64th wedding anniversary this past August. She was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Chester and Alice Coccia. She was raised in Everett and graduated from the Everett High School. She and her husband lived on Regis Road in Tewksbury, where they raised their family. The family was a communicant of St. William’s Parish while residing in Tewksbury. They retired to Nashua, NH in 1989. Polcari Sr., with whom she had celebrated a 62nd wedding anniversary this past June 11th. She was born in Somerville, September 24, 1930, one of four daughters of the late Natale and Lena (Crocetti) Mori, and was raised in Somerville. Mr. Roy D. Parsons Jr., age 88, died peacefully Monday evening, March 4, with his family at his side, at the Quality Health Care Center in Winter Garden, FL. He was the beloved husband for 53 years of Doris P. (Buzzell) Parsons, who died in 1999. Roy was born in Patten, Maine, on January 16, 1925, one of four children of the late Roy and Louise (Field) Parsons. He was raised in Presque Isle, and graduated from high school in Presque Isle. He enlisted into the U.S. Army, and was assigned overseas to the Panama Canal Zone. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant with the Military Police division. Florence J. (Lindell) Aker, age 94, a former Tewksbury resident, died peacefully at her Wilmington home, Saturday afternoon, March 2, surrounded by her family, after a brief battle with cancer. She had remained active, even driving her car and doing yard work, up to a few months ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Aker, who died in 1976. Mrs. Aker was born in Detroit, Michigan, January 8, 1919, one of three children of the late Carl and Hilma (Nurminen) Lindell, who had emigrated from Finland. She was raised in Clawson, Michigan, and graduated from Clawson High School. She went on to attend Wayne State University, where she played softball and basketball.
