Police Mediate Argument Over Tree Removal

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

On Wednesday, May 15, at 6:17 a.m. a resident on Sandpiper Lane reported a tree company cutting down trees in the area. Officers spoke to the workers who said they will be stopping until 7 a.m. A caller from River Road reported on Wednesday, May 15, at 7:09 a.m. that someone from the previous incident was now calling her, making threats and throwing items at her house. A separate call from the other party on Sandpiper Lane reported that she is getting calls from a neighbor not to go on her property. Police spoke to both parties and filed a report.  Hair Salon Assault Reported A detail officer on Andover Street was approached on Tuesday, May 14, at 9:07 a.m., by a resident who said she was just assaulted by a co-worker at Fatima’s Hair …

Pair Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Formula and Fleeing

A Wal-Mart employee reported that a woman was stealing baby formula on Sunday, May 12, at 7:49 p.m. The caller attempted to stop the woman, but she fled the parking lot in her vehicle. Police stopped the car and arrested Julia Wolchko, 20, of 75 Indian Ridge Road, East Hampstead, N.H., for shoplifting greater than $100 by concealing and larceny greater than $250. Charlotte Morgan, 20, of 9 Cortland Road, East Hampstead, N.H., was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and larceny greater than $250. Police Make Three Warrant Arrests at Motel 6

Police arrived at Motel 6, Room 251, on Friday, May 10, at 4:37 a.m. to serve a male party and two females on outstanding warrants. Apryl C. Georgeopoulos, 48, of 25 Pershing Street, Lowell, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Dwain A. Sykes, 38, of 271 Gallivan Blvd., Dorchester, was charged with carrying a firearm without a license, and distributing Class B drugs. Jennifer Cossette, 43, of 4 Magnolia Street, Billerica, was charged with larceny of a credit card. Police Chase a Stolen Car, Follow Up On Alleged Threat

Officers were on Lee Street on Thursday, May 9, at 12:59 p.m. looking to speak with a resident because another person heard second hand that the man allegedly saying he was going to “blow up” Maverick’s after he got kicked out of the bar. No one was home for police to speak to at the time. Stolen Car Speeds Away Police attempted to stop an allegedly stolen motor vehicle on North Street on Tuesday, May 7, at 1:12 a.m. The vehicle fled towards Lowell at a high speed and cars lost sight of it. Additional Incidents:  On Wednesday, May 8, at 6:53 p.m. a resident at Whipple Road and Rogers Street reported that an “enormous pig” was in the area. Resident Reports Car Shot With Pellet Gun

A resident called police on Sunday, May 5, at 8:41 p.m. to report that his Honda Civic was struck with ammo from a pellet gun. The incident reportedly happened sometime the previous night around 8:30 p.m. with damage done to the rear passenger door. Suspicious Package Reported A caller at AT&T Small World Wireless Communications on Main Street reported a suspicious package on Sunday, May 5, at 1:07 p.m. The officer who arrived on scene reported that it was music equipment that was left behind the previous night. Additional Incidents: On Saturday, May 4, at 5:44 p.m. the front desk at the Marriott requested an officer to remove an unwanted person. Allegedly Intoxicated Patron Accused of Wielding a Bat

A Maverick’s Restaurant and Lounge employee told police there was an intoxicated man that had been kicked out who was outside with a bat on Friday, May 3, at 10:22 p.m. The man was removed from the property and no threats were made. The 56-year-old Tewksbury man was taken into protective custody by police. Something Out of Place A man walked into the station on Thursday, May 2, at 5:55 a.m. to report that he was away from his Chapman Road home for a few days. When the homeowner returned, he noticed someone else’s belongings in his house. Officers walked through the property and nothing appeared to be taken or damaged. Residents Report Multiple Cases of Vandalism

A 911 call came in on Monday, April 29, at 5:09 p.m. from North Street where a 70-year-old man reportedly fell from a tree. He had a cut on his head and was unable to control the bleeding. Police determined that the man fell from a ladder and was transported to the hospital. Construction Equipment Damaged Overnight On Chandler Street, a resident reported that he is the victim of malicious damage on Tuesday, April 30, at 8:55 a.m. The caller said he is a private contractor and had a piece of machinery parked on town grounds, where it was damaged overnight. Police Make Shoplifting, Drug Arrests at Wal-Mart

An officer stopped a vehicle near Ryan’s Pub for defective equipment on Saturday, April 27, at 10:28 p.m. Keith Mitchell Ronan, 31, of 14 Tanglewood Ave., Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with possession of Class B drugs following the traffic stop. Police Make Multiple Arrests at Wal-Mart On Sunday, April 28, at 6:38 p.m. loss prevention at Wal-Mart reported a woman in custody for shoplifting. Tracy A. Vigeant, 41, of 223 Branch Street, 1st Floor, Lowell, was charged with shoplifting by asportation, receiving stolen property less than $250 and possession of Class E drugs. Police Use Taser on Alleged Drunk Driver After Crash

Dispatch received a 911 call on Wednesday, April 24, at 1:48 a.m. for a one-car motor vehicle crash into a wall or tree. The caller later updated officers that the vehicle involved took off towards Whipple Road. Police located the vehicle in a driveway and arrested Peter A. Winn, 26, of 68 Babicz Road, Tewksbury, on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of property damage. Police Tase Alleged Drunk Driver A Main Street caller reported that he was involved in a minor crash in front of Jade East on Thursday, April 25, at 4:47 p.m. After police responded to the scene, an officer deployed their taser on another person and an ambulance was requested. Loss prevention from Wal-Mart reported a man attempted to steal $1,000 worth of electronics on Tuesday, April 23, at 5:36 p.m. The suspect allegedly ditched the merchandise in the jewelry department. David R. Whaland, 31, of 14 Sunny Knoll Terrace, Lexington, was arrested and charged with malicious or wanton defacement of property and a larceny warrant. Man Reports Car as Stolen A man who was inside SkyBox Sports Bar for a while on Sunday, April 21, until 12:45 a.m. was unable to find his vehicle when he came outside.
