Red Pride teams break from the gate quickly with Week 1 wins.

Red Pride A Tewksbury Red Pride A 22 Timberlane 0 The Tewksbury Seacoast Red Pride kick off the 2012 football season with wins from both the A and B squads over the visiting Timberlane Tornado’s. The Red Pride A team won its contest on the merits of great defense and solid blocking by the offensive line that resulted in a 22-0 win over Timberlane’s A squad. The Defense was suffocating tallying 8 sacks and 15 tackles for loss of yardage. That monster effort was lead by 6th grader Jack Kelly who totaled himself a staggering 4 sacks and another 7 tackles in the Tornado backfield for a loss from his end position. …

The Cardinals won the 2012 Tewksbury Major League baseball town championship by defeating the Braves at Poulin field on Thursday, June 21. The Cardinals completed an outstanding season by winning five straight playoff games to capture the title after posting a 13-5 regular season record. Congratulations Cardinals! Tewksbury defeats Taunton twice in the championship round to claim the title.

After a Championship in the Think Pink Tournament 7-0 & a 3-1 Finish in The Old Orchard Southern Maine Diamond Challenge, the U16 Tewksbury Girls Softball team took home the U16 Massachusetts State championship this past weekend in Lowell. Tewksbury went 9-1 on the weekend and have an overall record of 19-2 on the young season. The Tewksbury Girls got off to a quick start on Friday making quick work of the Mass Fusion before taking a loss to Taunton Dynamite on Saturday Morning & going into the losers brackets and had to fight all day Saturday & Sunday facing elimination every game & beating 6 other teams (Lowell Dirt Dogs, …

Recently, the 14U Red Tewksbury Travel Softball team participated in the "Think Pink Tournament and they were dressed for the occasion, thanks to a local salon. Fresh Looks Salon generously donated pink hair extensions to the team honor of their participation in the tournament. It is a great tournament that helps support the Susan G Komen For The Cure.
