Man Tells Police He Was Kidnapped, Held At Motel 6

A motel room a the Motel 6 on Route 38 was being investigated as a possible crime scene after a man claimed he had been kidnapped and held there. On Wednesday, around 9:30 a.m., Lowell Police called their Tewksbury counterparts to report they had a man who claimed he had been kidnapped from Dorchester, held for a time in a room at the Motel 6 and later carjacked in Lowell. Tewksbury Police_ took the claim seriously, bringing in a CSI unit to scour the motel room. The victim was brought back to Tewksbury Police Headquarters and a report was filed.
