Rupture blamed on old piping.
A section of Shawsheen Street was shut down for several hours during the Tuesday morning commute, as crews repaired a water main rupture. According to DPW Superintendent Brian Gilbert, the break was reported Monday at around 11:30 p.m. It was located just off Main Street on the Heath Brook School side of Shawsheen. Patch work repairs were completed and the road was reopened just before 10 a.m…

I love how East street was repaved DIRECTLY infront of Market Basket but their trucks use and destroy the WHOLE road!! Repave IT!! How many other people have had to spend money getting their vehicles fixed because of driving on that road? Because I have and I'm sick of it. I shouldn't be forced to drive miles out of my way to get out of this town. Also with all the money being spent on the water …   more ›
