Tewksbury Man Sentenced To Prison For Drug Distribution
Defendant was dealing drugs out of his Tewksbury home.
A Tewksbury man will spend the next two-and-a-half years behind bars after pleading guilty to multiple drug charges this week in Woburn Superior Court. According to Tewksbury Police, Salvatore Matranga, 45, was sentenced to 30 months in jail for possession with intent to distribute a class B substance. When he is released from prison, Matranga will serve another five years of probation (including mandatory drug testing) on additional charges of possession with intent to distribute a class B substance (2 counts), possession with intent to distribute a class C substance, and possession with intent to distribute a class E substance.
