Mother and Daughter Sentenced In Death of Tewksbury Family's Kin

Teen who was driving the car that killed Margaret Catyb avoids jail time in plea deal.

The Florida mother and daughter held responsible for the death of a Billerica woman last spring have both agreed to plea deals in the case. Margaret Catyb, 77, was killed on May 31, while visiting Florida to attend the high school graduation of one of her 10 grandchildren. The Nissan Altima she was a passenger in was struck by a Dodge Durango driven by a 15-year-old with a learner's permit and no adult with her. The Durango had run a stop sign. Margaret Catyb's son, Thomas Catyb, lives in Tewksbury with his family. The teen, Brianna Henderson, pled no contest to failure to obtain a Florida driver's license, violation of learner's permit requirements and failure to yield right of way at a stop sign, according to an article published by the …
