Illegal Dumping, Drug Arrests Top Tewksbury Police Log

Often times, illegal dumping is dark of night ... and for good reason. At around 3:15 p.m. on Monday, Tewksbury Police received a call from the manager of the RTN Federal Credit Union on Route 38, reporting a man who was dumping items into the credit union's dumpster behind the building. According to the caller, the man had also been dumping items into the dumpster used by Harrow's Chicken Pies. Police notified the Harrow's manager of the situation. The caller was able to describe the man's vehicle and provided a license plate number to police. An officer went to the home of the man to discuss the allegations. Very quickly, the man confessed.
