The Lowell Sun reports that the man barricaded in a Motel 6 room in Tewksbury on Sunday night and later taken into custody is wanted by Framingham Police in connection with a shooting in that town last weekend. According to The Sun, Tewksbury Police confirmed that the man taken into custody is Damon Johnson, 24, who Framingham Police allege shot a 29-year-old man in the back of the head just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25.
