Ballot Is Finalized For Tewksbury Municipal election

Six-person race for Board of Selectmen tops the ballot.

The deadline has passed, nomination papers have been submitted and certified and the ballot is now set for the 2013 Tewksbury Municipal Election. According to information provided by the Town Clerk's office, of those candidates who took out nomination papers, the only person not to turn them in was Robert Rosa, who had taken out papers for the Board of Selectmen. In all, there will be five contested races in the April 6 Election. Do You Know Where To Vote? Are You Sure?

Hundreds of addresses have changed wards as a result of recent redistricting.

Recently, Tewksbury Patch published the list of four polling locations to be used when voters go to the polls for the Municipal Election on April 14. Do you know, based on where you live, where you are supposed to vote? Are you sure? As a result of the recent redistricting, nearly 600 addresses have changed precincts and nearly 300 have changed wards. Changing wards will, in many cases, change the location where voters cast their ballots. Attached is a list of the 567 addresses that have changed precincts under the redistricting. Included in that list are the 293 addresses that have changed wards.
