Does it make any sense for the Fire Fighters Union to push so hard at a time in our history when so many are fighting to keep a roof over their heads. People that have always supported you giving you financial security. The Fire Fighters do a great job, however, this fight could be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Many times during my career I accepted a praise delaying any raise when I needed it the most. We need the fire house in South Tewksbury and we need the Fire Fighters. It's time to turn anger into solutions. You may find other departments taking the hit you are being asked to take and maybe they should. From what I have seen were down to the bone already. We have no place to go without hurting someone. Maybe we should have said no to the tennis courts and other luxury items. It's time to unite and compromise one way or the other. We are gridlocked it appears turn this into a win/win for everybody. Maybe we should consider closing North Tewksbury Fire Station for three months and South Tewksbury Station for three months spreading the misery. We are all in the same boat, we will all sink without new industries helping us bail with new tax revenues. What industry wants to move closer to this fireball.

Gordie, I'm still right wing but no longer a lunatic. A few Ministers and Priest are rolling over in their graves thinking people are calling me a preacher man. You have no idea what my life has involved. I have seen many good friends fight that Demons and that only led to more demons. All lives are limited, however, when we have control of our lives we should do a better job when it is within our power. I once thought alchohol was the answer that would soothe all wounds, it did until the next day when the cycle had to be repeated. About 25 years ago I decided to try something else turning to a Greater Power and I am now in my seventh decade of life and the pain disappeared many years ago. I was fortunate to learn discipline from my Uncle Sam that has been priceless. I have never been more fulfillled, accomplishing dreams most people only dream about. It has opened new doors and closing others changing my life . I am not without sin but I certainly would stop far short of recommending marijuna to anyone, The mind is a wonderful thing as long as you are controlling it. I could get a prescription for marijuana tomorrow but will never do that as long as I am in control of my life. I understand your anxiety but everyone experiences life in different ways. When I enter Heavens Gate I want a clear head. You have great intentions, but, that does not make you right. Thank you.

It's just a new tax gimmick, it does not matter how many lives are ruined or goals limited. This is not grandpa's dope. This is mind boggling poison that is much stronger than the Hippies played with. Even their lives were limited they just haven't figured it out yet.

Ask the people in Chicago, Washington, D.C. and N.Y. City how gun control is working for them. Is it gun control or people control. This country is suffering from blind hysteria and narrow beam focus. Open your minds to the entire picture. Don't make a decision based on what I say or anyone else says think the problem through on your own. Blaming guns is a popular solution. We need the proper solution. You owe it to yourself. If it's not guns it will be worse, car bombs radical driving down side walks, torching buildings. When we accept easy solutions we don't need to look for the real problems. We hope for quick fixes that won't happen. Think the problem through. We have far too many gun laws and most are not enforced. Far too many murders that are poorly investigated, such as mafia hit squads. Why bother they were evil people. The killing continues. Many people sleep with there guns and are perfectly safe. Go after the person pulling the trigger at innocent targets. If someone is in your bedroom that you don't know he is not innocent, they are prepared to kill you.

The Liberal Judicial System and the ACLU have placed law abiding citizens in harms way. Reducing the number of guns will have zero impact on the problem. It's a matter of placing the blame where it belongs. Unless you are completely out of touch you know that guns are a small part of the problem. As long as we blame guns we will never solve this problem. One of the problems is dealing with the uninformed, but they will not listen. If you continue to blame guns the killings will continue and if you can't take the next step, we lose. Wake-up.

My name is Don Ordway long time Chairman of the Tewksbury Republican Town Committee (TRTC). My wife JoAnn and I spent 2-3 great years as a TRTC members before I decided take over as TRTC Chairman, annoited by my good friend Doug Sears. My years as Chair were 20-22 years. For years I have considered stepping aside as Chair; hoping for more time to float new ideas to Party Elders and moving the Party forward. My resignation as Chair is accompanied by many deep regrets. The position was the best job that I have ever had. The pay is terrible but the benefits are priceless. I look forward to the years ahead giving all that I have, hoping to improve our Parties win/loss per centage. The Country needs many more Patriotic Americans if we are to return to the greatness we once inheritted. This is the hour of our Countries greatest need. It's also time for those not involved to become involved.

Hi George, Ann Coulter is a great entertainer but hardly capable of moving me in one direction or the other. I've heard rumblings of the incident you referred to but remain firm in my own position. Illegal Immigrants should enter through the front door like all other immigrants. Stand in line. I tried to help a few gain entry years ago when I could see that we had an open door policy. We need to place a limit on their credit card spending so they can't live better than the average American that has full time job paying taxes. Our immigrant policy or lack there of is so ridiculous today it should be abolished. No more free rides, no more dual Justice systems; no more free health care. no in state college fees. Unemployed Brazilians are returning home today since their Country has been addressing their unemployment problems. We need help but with 8% unemployed (really much higher) it's hardly the time to search the globe for workers. The front door people are checked for criminal activity and ensuring proper vaccinations. Short cuts are seldom the answer. Our government is having angina for over promising people in need, but this is not the time for open borders. We must first get our own house in order. Most of the countries they are fleeing from are doing much better, example we gave Brazil billions of dollars to pump off shore oil, that is nearly illegal here. Today most have jobs. We need to do here what we are showing other countries what to do for survival.

Simon you would probably have the support of the Clergy regarding Capitol Punishment. However, the Judicial system has lost the confidence of the people and therefore the jury wants to make the decision that will protect the innocent. Abortion, euthenasia and a judicial system that cannot be trusted to protect them so the jury acts without them. If it was a family member that was murdered our opinions would change. If the killer cried or showed remorse they would change their opinion. I don't think we know what we would do until we hear the case.

Simon you present a good case for incarceration for life. Capitol punishment is the answer if I was on the jury. The evidence would have to be overwhelming commited by a repeat offender like Whitey Bulger. The Boston strangler would have a great deal to worry about if he was in my court house. Cases where I concluded that it would be inhumane to allow this person to walk as a free man. Would you have peformed capitol Punishment on Willey Horton the second time through the devils gate? The decision would be difficult but I wouldn't risk one life if the evidence was overwhelming. They appeal it several times bbbbbefore justice is served. The president did the right thing taking out Osama bin laden. Willey Horton deserved the same treatment. Circumstances, circumstances, circumstances = No Problem.
