  I reside in this exact area....why were there NO reverse 911 calls sent out for the residents safety? I had seen the officers that were in the neighborhood, but had no idea the situation was so serious, no information was given to residents.....especially since the suspect who beat this young man is still out on the loose! The time of the crime had occurred the same time our neighborhood children were coming home from school. These children had to walk home from the bus stop while the situation was active. Would have expected a reverse 911 call to inform us of a crime that happened in the neighborhood....that is why our reverse 911 technology exists, please use it!
