My god people....are you all perfect? Have you, a family member or friend never done something illegal? Did both Sal and Stacy do something wrong? Yes they did and I'm not condoning it by any means and you always have to be held accountable for your actions whether that means going to jail or a rehab. But...that doesn't mean that they and their family are scumbags. I have known Sal and his family for quite some time so this makes me sad to think that their family has gotten to such a bad place. Years back, I lived next door to Sal and his family and the very first day while we were moving in Sal and Maureen brought over a cooler filled with beer and drinks for us and our family because it was so hot out. They welcomed us to the neighborhood and invited us "strangers" over to their house on that very day for a party they were having. Not that this makes them perfect, but it does attest to their kindness. Yes, many people make mistakes, but most deserve the right to rehabilitate. I know many members of the Matranga family and I hope their family pulls through this trying time and gets to a better place. We all have skeletons in our closets and anyone that says they don't needs to get off their soap box and open their eyes to reality. Hang in there...

ReplyThe comments I want to leave on here for you "Pitbulls are killers" people aren't appropriate so I will be brief. I have owned 2 Pitbulls and 1 Rottweiller and they have been gentle, loving and kind animals to all of my family and friends. We even had the Rottie & 1 of the Pitbulls before we had kids and they welcomed each child with love and loyalty. Everyone that has known our family has known our dogs and there has NEVER been any issues and they have always been present during events in our home. There is also no such thing as lock jaw so please learn before you start bashing a breed. When my sister was 3 1/2 she had her face nearly taken off by a Cocker Spaniel....I think they should be banned as well if we are going to ban specific breeds just b/c they have bitten people. EVERY BREED has bitten, they are animals and they cannot speak so it is sometimes their only defense.

ReplyIt's a personal choice. I did not breastfeed any of my 3 kids and my kids are healthy. Breastfeeding was not for me. Make your own choice and don't let anyone tell y ou what to do. Good luck.

Congratulations to my friend Scott Wilson....you are a great leader and tdeserve your appointment. And to Mary, really? Clothes don't make you smart or a great leader, it's what is inside your head and heart that make you a great leader. Bin Laden and Hitler dressed appropriately for their culture and they were horrible leaders and murders. Be as old fashioned as you want...but this is 2013 and the last time I checked it was a "board of selectman" and their decisions are made together, not just by one person. I appreciate a leader who is a "real person" and shows dedication to his family, sports and outside commitments as well as their appointed positions. I believe we "got it right" with last weeks election and we now have a wonderful, well educated and dressed, Board of Selectmen.
