About Robert

I am the Head of Technical Services at the Tewksbury Public Library. I've worked in public libraries for more than a decade, since I was a sophomore in high school. I received my Bachelor's in Political Science, Sociology and Communication Studies from Merrimack College in 2007 and my Master's in Library & Information Science from Simmons College in 2010.

I volunteer at the Wilmington Memorial Library as their Friends of the Library Fundraising Chair.  I've previously served the group as President and Book Store Next Door Manager.  I also maintain the Friends of the Library Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/wmlfriends) and Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/wmlfriends) pages.  I am a member of the Massachusetts Friends of Libraries Board of Directors.  I also maintain its Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/mfolnews) and Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/mfolnews) pages.

Outside of the library world, I spend my free time serving on the Wilmington School Committee; watching lots of movies; reading lots of books; watching lots of TV; following local news; cheering on the Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics; and rewarding myself with hot fudge sundaes after every gym visit.

The present Burlington High School was built in 1973. A coincidence...I was looking up something else on Burlington and I just happened to make a note of that.

Hi,

I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved
with the film. I think this would be a great story to write about and tell people. I just wanted to pass this along. …Or If it’s not too much trouble, pledge on something (they are offering great things!) and if you can also please pass this along to your friends.

If I can help you out with anything or the production can help you with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Here is the link for the film:

Thanks

Mr. Hayes - I've had several ideas for a new HS that I actually wanted to bring to the attention of someone. I currently sit on the Wilmington Housing Authority and I am very interested in hearing more about a new school and possibly assisting in the process. Please let me know!

Rob,
could you give me a call at WCTV and explain, again, to me how you charge your members once/year and make it fair?
