Uh... my comment was supposed to be a reply to "Make a Difference"'s comment... not sure if I accidentally opened the wrong comment box or if there was a glitch....

I agree, many of the things people comment do not need to be said, there's that saying, "If you have nothing nice to say..." (which applies to you too) but you know if you are giving some of these people who are breaking the law (in some cases over and over) some understanding maybe you should also give the commenters some understanding as well. The crime in this town does affect them, the fact our court system seems to just let the law breakers back out seemingly without consequences (at least, without enough to deter them from breaking the law again), is beyond frustrating. This doesn't make what/that people are spouting off right, but they're not in such a great situation either. They're getting cynical and bitter at seeing the same stuff in the news over and over, and sometimes being victims of it as well. Personally I see those comments, roll my eyes and ignore them instead of like, rising to the bait. I probably would have ignored yours as well, had you not added that last part. Saying a few people's nasty comments (a few people you cannot possibly confirm from a comment live in Tewksbury) makes a whole town look bad is just like saying a few repeat offenders makes the whole town look bad.

Relevant in this situation, but not in others I've seen. There's still a proofreading problem on here.

Dude, I'm one of the possibly annoying people who points the mistakes out a lot on articles (of course I've kept my mouth shut on quite a few more that I've seen too). I've actually come to the conclusion/suspicion that Patch doesn't proofread. I've seen absolutely careless mistakes that make me think that no one, even the writer, bothers to re-read what they just wrote before they post. I almost considered offering my services as proofreader once... then I realized, you know, I don't care enough either. Everything online is too easy, breeds mistakes.

Go on the police website they use something called code red now more often than reverse 911. You're supposed to sign up for it somehow... I actually need to figure out how to do so myself for my cell number.

If you recall in the last post he was in (not his brother) they didn't have him, they were looking for him (they had the brother). I believe that means there was a warrant for his arrest, and this article means they found him and arrested him on that warrant.
