Tewksbury Athletics Director in Serious Condition Following Collapse

The Lowell Sun reported that Athletics Director Brian Hickey collapsed while leaving the boys lacrosse game on Monday.

Bystanders performed CPR to help save the life of Tewksbury Memorial High School Athletics Director Brian Hickey after he collapsed while leaving the boys lacrosse game on Monday, according to a report in the Lowell Sun.

The newspaper reported that Redmen football coach Brian Aylward, who was walking with Hickey when he collapsed, said two Tewksbury residents and a Dracut parent who are medical professionals performed CPR to revive Hickey until paramedics arrived.

After being transported to Lowell General Hospital, Hickey was brought to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where he was listed in serious condition on Tuesday, The Sun reported.
