Weekend Planner: A Movie Marathon at the Library, Redmen Ice Hockey and More

Each Thursday, we'll compile a list of events happening in Tewksbury over the coming weekend.

Friday, Dec. 27

Stop by the Tewksbury Public Library on Friday, Dec. 27 and catch up on some movie watching as you come down from the holiday rush. Both Planes and Despicable Me 2 will be screened, with Planes set to show at 10:30 a.m. and Despicable Me 2 to show at 2 p.m. Find out more about this event here. 

Redmen girls freshman basketball will take part in a tournament at Billerica High School.

Redmen boys varsity ice hockey will take part in a Maine tournament. 

Redmen boys freshman basketball will take on Shawsheen Tech at 10 a.m. at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. 

Redmen boys junior varsity basketball will take on Shawsheen Tech at 10 a.m. at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. 

Redmen boys and girls varsity track will participate in a meet at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center at 12 p.m.

Redmen girls junior varsity basketball will take on Melrose at 5:30 p.m. at Melrose High School.

Redmen girls varsity gymnastics will take on Acton-Boxborough Regional High School at 6 p.m. at ABRHS. 

Redmen girls varsity basketball will take on Melrose at 7 p.m. at Melrose High School.

Saturday, Dec. 28

Redmen boys junior varsity ice hockey will take on Billerica Memorial High School at 12:50 p.m.

Redmen girls varsity ice hockey will take on Haverhill High School at Methuen High School at 2:15 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 29

Redmen boys varsity wrestling will participate in the Lowell Holiday Tournament at 10 a.m. at the Tsongas Arena.
