2. Reader Comment of the Day: "In regards to Youth Baseball I notice that there is a $15 user fee included. What does that fee cover? The fields these kids play on are an embarrassment. Trahan, Heathbrook & North Street are just awful. These kids play on sticks and rocks. I don’t mind paying a nominal fee, but it appears that none of the fields are cared for at all and I am curious where the fee goes. If 200 kids play ball then that is $3k in fees. I would think we could buy some grass seed with that money," reader Tewksbury2001 commenting on the article, Weekend Agenda: Tewksbury Youth Baseball Registration a TMHS Fundraiser and More.

3. Today in Public Meetings: The Tewksbury Council on Aging will meet at 12:30 p.m. at the Tewksbury Senior Center. You can view the agenda here.

4. It's Also Happening Today: Check out the author visit happening at the Tewksbury Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Prison activist Jean Trounstine will discuss her book -- "Shakespeare Behind Bars."  In this gripping account, Trounstine, who spent ten years teaching at Framingham Women's Prison in Massachusetts, focuses on six inmates who, each in her own way, discovers in the power of great drama a way to transcend the painful constraints of her incarceration. Find out how to register here.

5. ICYMI: In case you missed it, firefighters from departments across the commonwealth participated in a four day trench rescue training class at South Fire Station in Tewksbury last week, learning the critical skills necessary to respond to a trench collapse.
