Job Seekers Network Seminar: On Tuesday, October 4 at 2:00pm, join leadership expert and author Steven Balzac to learn the key elements of a successful job interview in his “Interview For Success” talk.  Registration strongly recommended.

Financial Seminar: On Tuesday, October 4 at 6:30pm, join financial planner Deborah Maloy to learn about the many savings and investment options individuals can rely on when planning for the future in her “Real World Retirement Planning” talk.   Registration strongly recommended.

Paranormal Talk: On Wednesday, October 5 at 6:00pm, join Thomas D’Agostino – founder of the New England Paranormal United Research Society and author of “Haunted Massachusetts” – to learn about the paranormal activities he’s encountered in his “Ghosts of New England” talk.  Registration strongly recommended. 

Must-See Movie Matinee: On Saturday, October 8 at 2:00pm, watch one of Hollywood’s hottest DVD releases – “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.”  No registration required.

Photography Class: On Tuesday, October 11 at 6:30pm, join local photographer Todd Lemieux to learn three simple steps to improve your pictures.   Registration required.

Paranormal Talk: On Wednesday, October 12 at 6:30pm, join Roxie Zwicker – founder of the New England Curiosities and author of “Haunted Cemeteries of New England” – to learn about some of the Massachusetts’s REAL ghost stories.  Registration strongly recommended.

Job Seekers Network Seminar: On Tuesday, October 18 at 2:00pm, join the North Shore Career Center’s Deborah Barnes for a “Resume Reel,” where you will exchange resumes with several attendees, one at a time, and have the opportunity to get and give feedback. Registration strongly recommended.

Library Book Club: On Tuesday, October 18 at 6:30pm, the library’s book club will discuss “The Lace Reader” by Brunonia Barry.  Books are available at the Circulation Desk.  No registration required.

Paranormal Talk: On Wednesday, October 19 at 6:30pm, join Ron Kolek and Maureen Wood – founders of the New England Ghost Project – as they reveal the gory details of some of the most interesting cases ripped from the pages of their latest book, The Ghost Chronicles.  Registration strongly recommended.

Must-See Movie Matinee: On Saturday, October 22 at 2:00pm, watch one of Hollywood’s hottest DVD releases – “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”  No registration required.

Best-Selling Author Visit: On Tuesday, October 25 at 6:30pm, New York Times Best-Selling Author Brunonia Barry will discuss her latest work – The Map of True Places.  A book selling and signing will follow the talk.  Registration required.

Paranormal Talk: On Wednesday, October 26 at 6:30pm, join Dan Gordon – author of Haunted Baseball and Field of Screams – as he discusses the relationship between the paranormal and baseball, including his interviews with past and present Red Sox greats.  Registration strongly recommended.
